Is it possible that a regional strategy for circular economy is the key to a national transition?
Together with my closest collegues, including circular economy expert Stephen Hinton, we executed RUTBECK between december 2019 and march 2020, which was sponsored by The Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth. In this period interviews were carried out with strategists in eight regions and with various companies and experts.
And the result? A compendium containing fascinating findings! The findings will be used as a resource to explain the benefits of the various circular approaches, both for the region and local companies, targeting regional policy makers and strategists. We hope that the compendium gives a picture of where we stand today. We also hope that it shows opportunities for the next steps in a regional strategy for circular economy.
